Orientation and Values
Becoming aware of our moment to moment experiences holds the possibility for transformation. By learning to listen to our unique inner voice we are able to make new, lasting choices toward the life we desire.
My clinical thinking is centered around Relational, Psychodynamic, and Somatic theories founded in liberation focused psychology. I recognize our bodies hold immense knowledge about the experiences that have shaped us. I help clients reconnect to the body’s way of knowing safely and with compassionate curiosity, holding that what has brought you here has helped you survive thus far. While honoring this, we can shape it with intention, awareness, respect, and compassion.
The systems and structures that we culturally live within can have massive influences on how we relate to therapy and the work we do together. Working from a client centered approach helps us co-create the unique experience you’re looking for through a trauma informed lens.
